History
Over the years this area has been a true hideaway to the Hollywood likes of Marilyn Monroe, Bing Crosby, John Wayne, Lon Chaney Jr., James Dean, the Rat Pack and Burgess Meridith who built his home at de Anza golf estates. Today de Anza attracts members and guests from around the world. The de Anza Golf Course was designed by famed course architect Lawrence Hughes. It is a challenging but fun 6,778-yard par-72 layout and is perfect for golfers of all levels. The first nine holes were built in 1958. The second nine and clubhouse were completed the following year. The American and English Ryder Cup teams were attracted to the course and played their Pro-Am event here in November 1959.

Our friendly par-72 championship desert course, measuring 6,778 yards was designed by renowned golf course architect Lawrence Hughes and was a favorite course to golf legends such as Sam Snead and Billy Casper. Current PGA tour players John Chin and Kramer Hickok both were proud champions of the Golden State Tournament held annually at de Anza. You can walk or ride on our beautifully maintained course while enjoying breathtaking views of the San Ysidro and Santa Rosa Mountains and the mid-century modern homes lining our course. Our Club expansive practice facility features a driving range, short game practice area, chipping area and a large putting green. de Anza is also a popular wedding venue.
