History
Dance Attack! has been a South Bay establishment for 29 years. We have trained many dancers who have gone on to use dance in their careers; the most notable is probably Nick Lazzarini, the first winner of So You Think You Can Dance. Sioux Lehner started the original Dance Attack in Mountain View in 1989 where Elaine Pinto helped manage the studio for several years. Elaine and her husband Lee then opened a Santa Clara independent extension of the original Mountain View Dance Attack in 1994. When Sioux moved out of the area, she sold the Mt. View business to Jean Roberts, who moved the location to Sunnyvale. In the meantime, Elaine and Lee moved the Santa Clara studio to Los Gatos. Now both locations, Los Gatos and Sunnyvale, are under the ownership of Murphy Rowan.
