Business Loans Small businesses in Butte, Tehama, Modoc, Shasta, Trinity, Siskiyou, Humboldt and Del Norte Counties Business Start Up Assistance SCED assists income-eligible microentrepreneurs start and grow their businesses through innovative workshops and one-on-one counseling focusing on business development, marketing and businesses planning. Commercial Real Estate Loans By participating in the SBA 504 loan program, SCED is eligible to finance 90% owner-occupied commercial real estate. The increased level of financing allows for more small businesses to stop leasing and start owning their commercial real estate. Business Loans SCED serves as a non-traditional financing source for existing and start-up businesses, whose financing needs are under serviced by traditional lending institutions. Economic Development Planning Technical Assistance Projects - SCED representatives provide technical assistance in developing grant proposals for economic development projects.
