The Coronado Chamber of Commerce has been serving the needs of local business owners since 1937. Over the years it has helped the community thrive by advocating for better public policies and business legislation. Today the Chamber consists of nearly 400 members, who are all leading citizens in the community. The Chamber creates opportunities for business owners to network, gain referrals, promote their businesses and get involved with their city. Some of the Chamber's events and resources include: the President's breakfast with community speakers, Sundowners (business networking), political forums, meetings with professional business counselors, as well as a bi-monthly newsletter and e-mail updates.
The Chamber also sponsors time-honored traditions, such as summer concerts in the park, the Salute to the Military Ball and Harry T. Jenkins Award, the Coronado Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting and Merchant Open House, as well as the Coronado High School Business Scholarship and the Chamber Golf Tournament.
