History
Foothill Lemon Company, established in 1911, was once the largest lemon ranch in California and is now the site of the Corona Heritage Park and Museum. The museum building, constructed in 1937, was originally the ranch company store and payroll office providing essentials for employees and even included gas pumps. For many years it was the center of activity for the somewhat isolated agricultural community of south Corona. The 5-acre Corona Heritage Park and Museum is now surrounded by an expanse of new homes which have replaced the 2000-acres of lemon groves.
