Corona Clipper, which is based in Corona, Calif., 60 miles from Los Angeles, manufactures pruning and harvesting tools with short and long handles for the professional, agricultural and arborist markets. The commercial structure of the company and its distribution network extends throughout the United States and Canada. Its Corona brand name has been on the market for more than 70 years and is known for its classic tool designs and hand-crafted forgings. Corona s parent corporation is Corporacion Patricio Echeverria, a Spanish-owned global manufacturer of hand tools and agricultural spare parts. CPE acquired Corona in January 2000. Corona Clipper was established in the late 1920s and now employs nearly 200 people in its 10-acre facility with 75,000 square feet of industrial buildings.
