Commodity Forwarders was incorporated in 1974 by Alfred Kuehlewind. It started as a one-man office that specialized in perishable products, primarily exporting strawberries to Europe. Commodity Forwarders has expanded beyond air export into ocean export, domestic air freight, imports and distribution services. The Los Angeles location has allowed clients to source products from and distribute products to Mexico, Arizona and central and Southern California. Los Angeles also acts as a reliable transit point of South Pacific goods for Eastern United States distribution.
