About our Company 1973 John Reichardt, principal, owner and a native San Diegan from Point Loma founded Cabrillo Landscape as a new venture. He began with back ground in ornamental horticulture, landscape design, agronomy, including soil science and plant disease prevention. With that John had a love for the earth and a passion for growing things and creating outdoor living areas. Past to present he has completed hundreds of beautiful and creative landscape projects in San Diego County with scores of satisfied clients. Currently John's knowledge and focus on proper water usage, planting and soil drainage has proven beneficial in current water usage, planning and concerns. John has always dealt with landscape as a hands on grass roots type approach.
