History
The Clark Bonsai Collection was originally established by Mr. Bill Clark as an addition to the Clark Museum for Japanese Art and Culture in Hanford. When this magnificent art collection was passed to a large civic museum in Minnesota, the bonsai were donated to the Golden State Bonsai Federation. The GSBF then partnered with the Shinzen Japanese Garden to establish this public bonsai exhibit in Central California in 2014. The current exhibit was built through generous donations from Mr. Clark, the Shinzen Garden Committee, the GSBF, individual donors and the Fresno bonsai community.
