Citrus College is located in Glendora, California. Its district, the Citrus Community College District, serves the cities of Azusa, Claremont, Duarte, Glendora, and Monrovia. Founded in 1915 under the leadership of Dr. Floyd S. Hayden, Citrus College is the oldest community college in Los Angeles County and the fifth oldest in California. The college is located on a 104-acre campus that features 44 buildings and 8 outdoor facilities. The college employs 510 people and serves approximately 14,500 students every semester.
Citrus College offers associate degrees in 29 programs of study; certificates of achievement in 58 career/technical areas; and a pathway to transfer to a four-year college or university, all of which can be completed independently or simultaneously.
