Ciocolat, located at the former home of William H. Scott (one of the most influential figures in Davis history) and designated with "historic landmark" status by the city, is a specialty shop that retains much of the charm and feel of a 1920's-era craftsman-style bungalow.
Focusing mostly on "extraordinary" desserts, including truffles, cakes and pastries, Ciocolat also serves a small breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Customers can even buy beer, wine and port to accompany their selections. The restaurant itself is cozy, with a nice little patio that spans the front and one side of the shop.
