The Child Guidance Center, also known as CGC, is a nonprofit organization that has been providing diagnostic and treatment services to residents in Southern California since 1967. The organization serves children with emotional, behavioral and learning disorders. It offers outpatient mental health care and counseling services to children who have been the victims of substance, physical, emotional and sexual abuse. The Child Guidance Center maintains a staff of more than 50 board-certified child psychiatrists and clinicians that serves over 3,000 children each year. It partners with the Tustin Family Resource Center to provide the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Program, which focuses on parenting skills for families with children between the ages of 2 and 8. The Child Guidance Center maintains a location in Santa Ana, Calif.
