History
I started aerial arts after being diagnosed with advanced arthritis and told that I needed both knees replaced. After some time, I pulled myself up and decided to make a list of all the physical activities that one with arthritis should not be able to do, and learning Aerial Arts was at the top of my list! I found a little studio with an awesome teacher and started training feverishly - I loved it so much! Although it was a bit challenging, Aerial Arts was easy on my joints, it was an amazing workout. It improved my strength and flexibility beyond measure! I can do things in my 50s that I could not dream of doing in my 20's - including the splits! I now train, teach and perform in Tissu, Hoop, Hammock, and Trapeze. I have never felt so alive! I have been blessed to also be an outdoor aerial performer with Vertical Art Dance and can be seen in remote aerial performances between mountain peaks, off the side of cliffs, and over lakes - sometimes as high as 140 feet in the air!

Hi, I'm Cheryl and I specialize in making every student feel on top of the world! I have combined my 20+ years of experience as a personal trainer, a life coach, and an author to bring out the very best in my students. If you or your child prefer non-competitive sports, a private, positive environment, then you will love taking private lessons with me. I have seen students who are extremely shy and quiet go from being introverts to performers with personality in just months.
