The Cerritos Library is the first titanium-clad building constructed in the United States, featuring themed spaces, high quality art work, and inspirational architecture. It is recognized throughout the library community for its modern design and world-class customer service.
The library features an extensive collection, educational exhibits and a Conference Center. There are full-service reference/information desks in both adult services and children's services. The library is equipped with 200 computer workstations and space for 300,000 books.
The children's area features Stan, an authentic Tyrannosaurus rex replica and an aquarium wall. The "Old World" reading room located near the entrance of the library includes a fireplace, new releases, rare volumes and a special collection of leather-bound classics. The library's second floor has 200 computer workstations and study rooms. The third floor conference center includes the 3,200-square-foot Skyline Room, a 1,200-square-foot high-tech training lab and a board room.
