Community Food Bank works with different partner agencies to distribute food throughout Fresno, Madera and Kings counties. Programs ProgramsCommunity Food Bank offers programs to help those in need in Madera, Fresno and Kings counties. Our programs include hosting a Kids Cafe after-school program, a Mobile Pantry fresh food distribution, Nutrition Education, Partner Pantry Program and Hunger 101. We are excited about our programs and need donors to help us continue to meet the need of the community. Through these programs we serve 90, 000 people on a weekly.We are glad to host one Kids Cafe after-school program. This program is located at Mt. Olive Church in central Fresno and offers up to 25 kids from 1st to 8th grades a safe place be after-school, hot meals, snacks, homework help, life skills and a fun atmosphere.This is our newest - most innovative program! Nutrition on Wheels affectionately known as N.O.W. is nutrition education on wheels. With assistance through funding from Kaiser Permanente we are able to kick nutrition education up a notch, by offering cooking demostrations.The Mobile Pantry Program, formerly know as Neighborhood Market, was established with healthy living and eating in mind. This program distributes fresh produce and other healthy foods directly to those in-need throughout Fresno, Kings, and Madera Counties. Our Mobile Pantry visits non-profit organizations serving those in need.
