History
Our preschool started as an Adult Education Parent Participation only school. Now we partner with Center Districts Special Education staff and students as Center Co-op Inclusion Preschool. We have many adults who support and teach the children: three credentialed teachers who work with all the students; instructional specialist who support the children with qualifying special needs; fingerprinted and background checked adult family members who work in the classroom; as well as many resource specialists which include the following areas speech, occupational therapy, behavior, and psychology.
Specialties
Our preschool is a parent participation preschool which means that parents or grandparents are able to experience preschool with their child, as well as offsetting the cost and making it one of the most affordable schools in the area. They can watch their child learn, and have a hand in teaching them their-selves. Monthly field trips as well as special in-class activities provide rich learning opportunities. The evening parenting classes every other month present invaluable skills for raising happy, respectful, and confident children.
