Established in 1967, the Center for Employment Training is a nonprofit organization that provides employment training and educational programs for people in need. Programs include job preparation instruction, vocational English as a second language, adult literacy, housing assistance, immigration services, G.E.D. preparedness instruction, assistance with federal financial aid, referral and information services, and immigration services. Courses include accounting clerk, typing certificate, forklift operator, business office technology and medical administrative assistant. The CET's programs are open entry and open exit.
