Founded in 1993, Centennial High School is located in Bakersfield, Calif., and is operated by Kern High School District. It enrolls more than 2,500 students, and provides variety of facilities, such as a football stadium, library, computer laboratories, and track and baseball complex. The high school offers various special programs and projects, including English Language Learners, Gifted and Talented Education, Job Training Partnership Association, Independent Study And Special Education. Its curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, mathematics, modern languages, performing arts, physical education, science, social studies, virtual enterprise and arts, business and industrial technology. The high school provides a wide variety of athletic activities, including football, volleyball, golf, tennis, cross country, basketball, soccer, wrestling, baseball, softball, swimming and track.
