This Mexican import gift shop has been on Solano Avenue for six years, though it has moved a short distance since it originally opened. Owner Guillermo Robles says that his goal was to create a space that felt like a typical store you might find in Mexico. Everywhere you turn, bright colors and surprising items catch your eye, from wooden peacock statues to embroidered clothing. There's plenty to choose from, as every surface of the store is covered with gift and decorating ideas. Painted tiles and large pottery pieces for the outdoors inspire as well. Robles sometimes offers workshops in traditional skills such as painting or woodcarving; check the store's website for details.
