Formed in 1957, California Correctional Peace Officers Association is a community service organization, representing more than 30,000 correctional peace officers working inside California's prisons and youth facilities. Based in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., the organization works for promoting and enhancing the correctional professions as well as provides safety to the people engaged in corrections and advocating. Additionally, the association supports a variety of public service organizations which are dedicated to help victims, prevent crimes, protect public safety and advance the correctional professions.
