Located downtown near the "old town district," Lake Elsinore Fire Station #10 is the oldest of the four fire stations in the city. Built in the 1950s, it is a CALFIRE station -- one of nine in Riverside County. CALFIRE and Lake Elsinore jointly operate three fire engines and a squad from this facility through a cooperative-integrated system. The Lake Elsinore Fire Department is led by Chief Jerry Hendershot. The Battalion Chief is Kevin Lawson.
