History
The ministers in Burbank realized there was a need for a centralized point for services such as food and other assistance for the Burbank community. A group of concerned citizens banded together and Burbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC) was founded. Most people don't think of Burbank as a community with much need. However, Burbank has a large population of underemployed and working poor who turn to BTAC for assistance. As of 2015, BTAC was serving approximately 300 homeless individuals, as well as close to 10% of the resident households in Burbank! The need is great!
