Broken Rock Ranch offers a remote camping experience that is only about 40 miles from downtown San Diego, is easily accessible from the major thoroughfare, and is 10 minutes from the amenities of town. Groups both large and small can enjoy the solitude of Broken Rock Ranch, along with the beautiful Southern California climate averaging a yearly high of 91 degrees and a low of 58 degrees! Broken Rock Ranch offers a quaint chapel or outdoor area just right for your country wedding! Available for weddings and events, this charming chapel has 22 benches which seats about 150 guests and is just a short distance from the main compound and reception area. Plan your wedding, rehearsal dinner, overnight lodging for your guests, and reception all at one location! We welcome groups from: Churches,Men and Women's organizations ,College & University,Youth & School Groups,Family Reunions & Celebrations, Wedding Receptions, Parties,Corporation meeting & presentations,Business Meetings & Seminars There are sleeping accommodations for 78 guests in the bunk house and dormitory buildings. Bunk house rooms have bunks for 4 to 18 people. Each dorm has bunks for 20 people. The attached bath house has showers and toilets. We use well water for irrigation and city water for drinking, cooking and washing.
