VP Discount Health Food is a health store in a crowded strip mall on the corner of Reseda Boulevard and Nordhoff Street. The woman who runs it is friendly and knowledgeable, and she is happy to answer any questions customers may have. The store is packed wall-to-wall with herbs, supplements, powders, mixes, treatments and vitamins for most any type of health purpose. There are also separate sections for weight control items and bulk items. Nearly half the items in the store are discounted 20–30 percent off. There is also a small refrigerated section where health drinks and water can be found.
