History

Founded by Steve Oliver & Jason DeCosta in the summer of 2012, Ultimate Tennis was born after a chance encounter at the Riviera Country Club USPTA awards ceremony. Steve and Jason had known of each other through mutual tennis associates but had never met in person (Steve is the former CEO of TennisKids and Jason is the former VP of ACEing Autism) they shared their mutual passion for tennis in addition to their disappointment of the current state of American tennis. This encounter lead to the idea of forming a new coaching company that could make a true impact with high level coaching in the Southern California area... Not just with elite juniors, but with all ages and levels.
