History
In 1998, Brentwood General Store grew out of its starting location in the dining room of Melissa & Jeffrey Clark's home to their first location at the Brentwood Country Mart. Over the course of 10 years, Brentwood General Store grew to become a loved and valued member of the community. In January of 2013, the time had come to move on to bigger and better. Although the decision to do so was hard, Brentwood General Store left the Country Mart, moving to bigger storefront a short mile away on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, California. In March of 2013, Brentwood General Store opened at its new location in the heart of Santa Monica, CA at 1413 Montana Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90403. Maintaining our values and mission, we are proud to say that our new store is bigger, better and has plenty of room for more irresistible candles!
