Blackbird Dance Company conducts daily and monthly workshops in every style of dance. Located on the 2nd floor of a mini-mall on the corner of Sunset and Highland, Blackbird is open for adults, teens and kids. Dance styles include Hip Hop, Salsa, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Ballroom, Latin, Funk, Break Dancing, Belly Dancing, Lyrical Modern, African, Contemporary, and Broadway. It's a great space where private and group classes are taught by experienced professionals. The Hip Hop class is particularly popular with all age groups, and is a good workout. Other classes include Dance for Actors and Wedding Choreography. The studio is available for parties, filming and rehearsals. On-site parking can be found above and below the structure.
