History
Anna began her personal yoga study in 2006 after a series of car accidents left her back and neck stiff and in pain. Though physical therapy helped, she found her body regressing after simple tasks like desk work or driving. Her first class was a hot yoga class, commonly known as Bikram or 26 + 2. She found it super challenging, but felt the benefits immediately. She explored other types of yoga such as vinyasa, ashtanga, restorative, prenatal, etc and after 13 years of personal exploration, decided to become a certified teacher. Her first certification was for hot hatha, and since then, she has been certified in biomechanical yoga, nutrition, and is currently pursuing certification to teach meditation. She uses techniques learned from personal practice & course study to create custom classes for her clients. She recognizes that all bodies work at different levels of mobility and, coming from a minimally mobile place herself, knows how to make adjustments to accommodate tight bodies.
