Debbie Oliver, DVM, took over Blue Cross Pet Hospital in 1998. Regular and emergency veterinarian services are available for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents and potbellied pigs. House calls, including at-home euthanasia are also available. Non-traditional treatments, such as herbal medicine and acupuncture, are available here. Additionally, the hospital provides grooming and boarding services. As part of the Pacific Palisades community, Dr. Oliver invites local schools, scout troops and YMCA groups to visit the hospital on field trips. Many members of the community volunteer their time at the hospital. For homeless animals, the Blue Cross Pet Hospital created the Sammy Fund to take care of abandoned pets and find them a new home.
