This school, for students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade, is associated with Temple Beth Hillel, but is separate from the temple. Beth Hillel Day School is a service for members of Temple Beth Hillel, so families must become members of Temple Beth Hillel prior to starting school.
Beth Hillel Day School is committed to developing the academic skills, individual talents, and Jewish identity of every child within a warm, inclusive school community affiliated with the Reform movement.
The General Studies program at Beth Hillel Day School provides a strong academic foundation, which includes mathematics, social studies, science, and language arts. Curriculum is tied to California or national standards in each academic area.
The Jewish Studies program is designed to nurture a strong Jewish identity and to set children on a path of personal discovery into Jewish history, culture, and tradition.
The program is enriched by specialists in computer science, art, music, dance, library, and physical education. After-school care is available, and after-school enrichment programs are offered each year, based on students' interests.
