This is the office for the Citizens for East Shore Parks. The office is staffed solely by Patricia Jones and is located in the El Cerrito Central Plaza mall office buildings. The organization was founded in 1985 to prevent major developments on the shorelines of Albany and Berkeley. The organization includes The Golden Gate Audubon Society, Citizens for the Albany Shoreline, Save the Bay, The Sierra Club and the Emeryville Shoreline Committee. So far the organization has established the Eastshore State Park, which consists of over 8 miles of shoreline park running through the cities of Emeryville, Berkeley, Albany, Richmond and Oakland. They meet at this location the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm.
