History
Originally founded as the Community Breast Health Project in 1993 by a breast cancer patient and her dedicated surgeon, we have endeavored to set the standard for compassionate support and comprehensive information for people facing breast cancer. In 2014, we expanded our free programs and services to anyone touched by ovarian cancer and changed our name from Breast Cancer Connections to Bay Area Cancer Connections. As an organization committed to ensuring that no one faces breast cancer alone, we feel privileged to be able to fulfill that same commitment for those facing ovarian cancer.
