Bandworks is a company which holds workshops for musicians of all levels of experience. In these workshops, learning players are put together with a professional musician and coached to the level where they can perform. The band then gets to take the stage at a local venue. Rehearsals take place at Oakland's Jack London studios. The company also has summer camps in the Bay Area and Portland, Ore., as well as offering private lessons.
