Baby Blues BBQ is the creation of two guys who really love barbecue. Rick McCarthy and Danny Fischer grew up with families who owned restaurants, so they learned at an early age how they wanted to run their own place when they grew up. The guys call their style a "hybrid style of barbecue." They tried many styles before they opened and incorporated several into the menu.
Memphis, North Carolina and New Orleans styles of cooking are predominant on the menu. It has a killer happy hour that starts early and ends late. This spot has a full bar, but sometimes one of its small artisan beers is the perfect fit for your meal. There's also a location in Venice Beach.
