One of the most striking things about Angelo Mio is the space: beautifully maintained and decorated and complete with high ceilings, paintings, and comfortable seating. The menu features all the Italian favorites, including lasagna, Fettuccine Angelo Mio (fettuccini with Italian bacon, shiitake mushrooms and onions in a light cream sauce), Penne al Cariofi (penne tossed with fresh artichoke hearts, spinach, mushrooms and roasted garlic), and Veal Porcini (thin slices of veal sauteed with imported porcini mushrooms), as well as an extensive, reasonably-priced wine list. Owner and Head Chef Emilio Demirkol insists that the roast lamb shank is not to be missed, and encourages customers to come in for lunch and try a salad or paninis.
