If I could share one insight on wellness...So much of our physical state of being is rooted in our mentalstate. If we can ensure time in our routine for mindfulness-basedpractices, we may be able to replace some medications with meditation. My Patient Care Philosophy Listening is the key to helping my patients. The diagnosis is hidden inthe intricate details that a patient shares with me, and I provide a safeand trustworthy space where my patients can communicate with mefreely. I understand that each patient is uniquely influenced by theirgenetics, past experiences, and current environment, and I use thisinformation to partner and guide them in a way that resonates with theirpersonal philosophies.Integrative Medicine I believe that while modern medicine excels in treating acute conditions,we can benefit by tapping into knowledge from alternative medicine toguide preventative care. I practice an integrative approach that blendsthe best of all available medical solutions, be it rooted in Eastern orWestern medicine.Practicing Lifestyle Medicine At a young age, after being hospitalized for recurrent asthma attacksthat were treated with potent medications, my family sought careunder a pediatrician with a different approach. Although it waschallenging to revamp my way of living as a child, these changesultimately resulted in eliminating medications. This experience showedme the immense power of lifestyle medicine and empowered me totake control of my well-being. I try to bring this perspective and senseof empowerment to my patients.
