Established in 1923, Amador Valley High School serves more than 2,500 students in grades 9 through 12. A National Blue Ribbon School, it offers classes in mathematics, English, science, social studies and fine arts. The school also conducts sessions in various foreign languages, such as Spanish, French and German. Amador Valley High School provides special education programs for students with learning difficulties. The school offers several sports activities, including baseball, softball, soccer and cross-country. It operates a library and parent-teacher-student association. The school provides counseling services and conducts music programs. Amador Valley High School is a part of the Pleasanton Unified School District.
