Growing up in India, Dr. Rangachar was fortunate to be a part of a diverse population and culture. Her inspiration was her grandfather, a medical practitioner who went to remote villages daily to provide medical care. When she was ten years old, Dr. Rangachar got a glimpse into her grandfather’s treasured box of medical equipment which sparked her interest and began her journey in the pursuit of helping others through the knowledge of medicine. Dr. Rangachar has been practicing as a pediatrician in Orange County for the past 10 years and while she provides care for children of all ages, she has a special interest in newborns. Her goal is to help with nurturing each child to lead a happy, healthy life and she is well versed with all preventative and developmental aspects of pediatrics. As she states it best, “I pride myself on providing comprehensive care. Whether it is vaccines, education, autism, nutrition, or any other condition, I serve as a resource for parents.” She received her medical degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences where she received top honors and realized her passion for pediatrics. Upon completion of her education, she moved to the United States and worked as a resident at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Rangachar is fluent is many languages including English, Spanish and several Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu. A Tustin resident, Dr. Rangachar lives with her husband, son and german shepherd. She enjoys nature, road trips, karaoke, and painting when she is away from the office.
