What this means for a passenger getting into one of North Bay's cabs is that the driver must meet the standards of their contract with North Bay Taxi, and also that of the owner of the taxi that they are driving. All drivers for North Bay Taxi meet the strict requirements set by our insurance underwriters for their DMV driving record. They are screened for federal, state & local violations and random drug tested.. All drivers for North Bay Taxi must hold a current permit issued by Marin County Taxi Regulation Program. Look for the Vehicle Permit, issued by the Marin General Services Authority, on the rear window of the taxi.
