Founded in 1976, CARTI is a nonprofit health care organization that offers a range of radiation therapy and patient care services. It provides treatment of bladder, bone, brain, head, neck, lung, skin and stomach cancers. The organization offers intensity-modulated radiation therapy, which includes treatment through computer-controlled x-ray accelerators. It provides various treatment services that include tomotherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, and hyperthermia and image guided radiation therapies. The organization also maintains a team of radiation oncologists, therapists, oncology nurses, physicians and dosimetrists. It offers several educational programs for qualified radiation therapists. Additionally, its programs are accredited by the Joint Review Commission on Education in Radiologic Technology. CARTI maintains a location in Little Rock, Ark.
