Since the early 1840s, First United Methodist Church is a congregation of people of all age groups serving the needs of the people. Based in Lonoke, Ark., the church serves the community with a variety of services, such as the contemporary worship service, traditional worship service; other activities include Women's Fellowship Circle, United Methodist Men (UMM) and United Methodist Youth (UMY). The church has a child care center-offering programs for infant s upto preschool. It has a children ministry for infants, toddlers and preschoolers as well as rotational Sunday school for grades K-2 and K-3 to 5th grade children. The church programs helps in the development of a child s physical, social, emotional and spiritual ability.
