Founded in 1971, Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled is a charitable organization. It provides a range of community-based services for people who suffer from developmental disabilities. The organization operates the Lacy Landers Center, which provides vocational training for the development of social, cognitive and communication skills. Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled offers early intervention, day treatment, transportation and periodic screening services, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapies for children up to the age of 5. The organization provides supported employment and housing services. It additionally operates Community Life Services. Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled supports the Alternative Community Services program.
