Established in 1850, Arkansas School for the Deaf serves through elementary-, middle- and high school. Based in Little Rock, Ark., it has various departments, including human resources, business office, transportation, health services, audiology, speech and language, physical, occupational therapy and food services. The school offers various activities, such as football, lady leopards volleyball, boys basketball, lady leopards basketball, varsity cheer squad, booster club and soccer. Arkansas School for the Deaf has a computer lab for group projects and activities in each of its school building.
