Specialties
We are a traditional Japanese dojo specializing in Aikido, Iaido and Zen. We focus on empty hand techniques as well as weapons. Both youth and adult programs are available from 5 years old through adults. Benefits of training in Aikido include fun physical movement and exercise, improved coordination and balance, increased self-esteem and self-confidence, better concentration and awareness, positive development of social skills, relationship building and teamwork. Aikido is a traditional-Japanese-martial-art. All four of these aspects are focused on throughout the classes at different times.
