History
The Office of Human Concern was originally named the Northwest Economic Opportunity Agency, however, the name changed in the mid-1970's to better reflect the agency's mission and community outreach. It's central office is currently housed in a building that was built in 1880 and used to be home to Dr. Love's Sanitarium.
