Jacksonville Christian Academy, a ministry of Bible Baptist Church, offers educational and extracurricular programs to children in grades kindergarten through 12. Founded in 1978, the organization enrolls more than 300 students annually and conducts a wide variety of seminars, summer youth camps. A member of the American Association of Christian Schools, its curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, Bible studies, phonics, physical education, music and arts and crafts. Located in Jacksonville, Ark., its extracurricular activities include knowledge bowl, junior-senior banquet, senior trips, state fine arts and academic competitions, band and choir concerts and National Honor Society. Jacksonville Christian Academy offers college preparatory diploma through curriculum provided by A Beka Book and Bob Jones University Press. The school is home to the Eagles basketball and volleyball teams, and provides sports teams for middle school students.
