She is the winner of numerous public service awards and certificates of appreciation, and continues to serve on numerous committees, commissions and/or task forces.The Role of the Interpreter is to interpret between two different languages and assure that there are no barriers in communicating or understanding between persons who use sign language and persons who use spoken English.
