Arkansas Baptist Children's Homes, also known as ABC Homes, offers services to dependent and neglected children. The association through its Boys Ranch serves boys who simply need a place to live, boys with family conflict issues, or boys in need of behavioral guidance. The ranch s 4-H club allows the boys to raise and show championship livestock or participate in other projects. The center s Promise House provides food, shelter, education, and medical care to a teenager with an unplanned pregnancy. Its network of emergency receiving homes provides immediate sanctuary for children in need of emergency care. Many of the children in the agency's emergency shelters have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. Christian counseling services are provided by professionally-trained Christian counselors to individuals, married couples and the entire family.
