Tempe High School is operated by the Tempe Union High School District. The school, located in Tempe, Ariz., offers classes to more than 1,300 students annually in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, special education, social studies, fine arts, foreign languages, math, science, business, physical education, and vocational and career technology. The school also offers various other programs, including honors and gifted programs, health occupation preparatory education, foreign language classes, technology and work-study programs. It employs more than 75 trained instructors to provide educational services to students. Tempe High School offers a range of activities, such as music and athletic programs, National Honor Society, service clubs, student government, special interest clubs, peer mediation, and parent liaison and education programs.
