Operational since 1967, The Centers for Habilitation, also known as TCH, provides a range of services for individuals with developmental disabilities. It offers services to more than 900 men, women, children and families throughout the state of Arizona. The organization conducts several programs for families with children who are diagnosed with developmental disabilities, such as premature and multiple births, genetic abnormalities, and prenatal exposure to drugs and alcohol. The Centers for Habilitation provides occupational, speech and physical therapy services, as well as conducts early childhood special education programs. It offers early intervention services for infants and toddlers. The organization also administers senior recreation programs. The Centers for Habilitation additionally provides at-home attendant care and community employment support services. It conducts classroom and recreational activities related to reading, games, and arts and crafts. The organization is a member of the United Way Agency.
